Olivia Luz Perillo (b. 1993, Lafayette, LA) is a documentary photographer, filmmaker, producer, collage artist, colorist, and archivist whose work continues on themes of cultural storytelling, regional music, social justice, ancestral healing, and the natural world primarily between South Louisiana and the American Southwest. Her stylistic approach with color, light, and composition in each medium serve as a portal through space and time in repose. Her photography has been supported by Chanel, Lana Del Rey, HarperCollins, The New York Times, The Marshall Project, and Country Roads Magazine.

Syd Horn is a Jane of all trades, a fearless conduit of novel authenticity. After writing her first short film, Migration, she began to develop her unique style of art direction, screenwriting, producing, and editing. She is passionate about building creative teams, and she is determined to progress her personal mission of delivering diverse narratives about humanity and its counterparts via film, written publication, live performance, and music, in hopes of moving her viewers and fellow collaborators toward kind curiosity, celebration of individuality, and a world who’s original, inclusive, and sustainable.

Founded in 2018, Syd + Olivia have made three documentaries together under Honest Art, Across the Quiet (2025), Intention (2020) and Migration (2018), with other documentary and music video work through 2024. Honest Art has been supported by Panavision, TV5Monde, Cox Communications, Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, Lafayette Travel, Southern Screen, and Acadiana Center for the Arts.
